The environmental and human crisis in which we find ourselves leads me to question the foundations of the imaginaries that cross us, what makes up our identities and what defines our relationship to the world.

For several decades, man has arrogated to himself the right to dominate nature, destroying forests, polluting rivers and oceans, leading to the extinction of countless animals and plants. It has also silenced many indigenous peoples and discriminated against just as many minorities.

The dualism between nature and culture with which contemporary society is imprinted undoubtedly orients the relationship with the life of individuals. Thus separating the body from its deep nature, from the cycles and natural flows that inhabit it, pushing the parts of "savage" to the confines of the psyche and silencing the instinctual knowledge that is in him.

How to find these parts of savage in oneself? How can we relate to the intuitive being who lives in us? How to reunite the natural world and the interior life?

For ecopsychologists, the human being is an extended identity that includes the other species and their environment. In this approach, humans, animals, plants and the earth are no longer seen as objects but as interacting subjects.

Starting from this a-priori, from the feeling of incompleteness and confinement of my being, I needed to reinvent my interior territory, to find the roots of my being, to reappropriate the spaces that offer freedom to my relationship to the world.

Using photography as a mirror and as a projection medium, I slipped into wild or domesticated landscapes which that I have always desired. Making them mine and reconstituting image after image my instinctive identity, thus freeing me from the shackles and imaginations of society.
